Style: Road safari with scheduled flights (Serengeti-Tarime and Migori-Mara Serena-Nairobi)

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a representative from Wild Chronicles Safaris and transferred to your hotel. A brief safari briefing will be provided.

Day 2: Nairobi Full-Day Excursion

* Morning:

Giraffe Centre: Arrive around 9:00 and visit the giraffes, feeding them.
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage: Late morning session.

* Lunch:

Relaxed lunch in Karen, at a garden restaurant or café.

* Afternoon:

Karen Blixen Museum: Guided tour and short walk in the grounds.

* Evening:

Return to Nairobi hotel, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi to Amboseli (2 Nights)

* Morning:

* Depart Nairobi around 8:00.

* Drive to Amboseli National Park, approximately 4-5 hours via Emali.

* Afternoon:

* Check in at lodge/camp, have lunch.

* Afternoon game drive with views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting).

* Evening:

* Sundowner and dinner at the lodge.

* Overnight: Amboseli.

Day 4: Full Day in Amboseli

* Morning:

* Early game drive focusing on elephants, big cats, and birdlife.

* Midday:

* Return for late breakfast at the lodge; then time to rest or swim.

* Afternoon:

* Second game drive, visit observation hill or swamps.

* Evening:

* Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 5: Amboseli to Namanga to Arusha to Lake Manyara

* Morning:

* Early departure from Amboseli.

* Drive: From Amboseli to the Namanga border (approximately 2–3 hours).

* After immigration and customs at Namanga, continue into Tanzania.

Day 5: From Namanga to Arusha (approx. 2–3 hours).

* Drive: From Namanga to Arusha.

* Lunch: Lunch in Arusha town.

* Afternoon:

* Drive: From Arusha to Lake Manyara (approx. 2–2.5 hours).

* Check-in: Lodge near Lake Manyara.

* Evening:

* Short evening game drive: If time permits, or relax at the lodge.

* Overnight: Lake Manyara.

Day 6: From Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater (2 nights).

* Morning:

* Optional morning game drive: In Lake Manyara.

* Drive: From Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro area (approx. 2–3 hours via Karatu).

* Afternoon:

* Check-in: Lodge on the crater rim or nearby.

* Relax: Enjoy the views of the crater.

* Evening:

* Dinner: Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 7: Full day in Ngorongoro Crater.

* Morning:

* Early descent: Into Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing.

* Midday:

* Picnic lunch: At a designated site inside the crater.

* Afternoon:

* Continue game drive: Then ascend back to the rim.

* Evening:

* Dinner: Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 8: From Ngorongoro to Serengeti Serena (2 nights).

* Morning:

* Departure: From Ngorongoro after breakfast.

* Drive: From Ngorongoro to the Serengeti Serena area (approx. 4–5 hours, game viewing en route).

* Afternoon:

* Check-in: Serengeti Serena Lodge.

* Afternoon game drive: On the central Serengeti plains.

* Evening:

* Dinner: Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena.

Day 9: Full day in Serengeti.

* Morning:

* Early descent: Into the Serengeti for game viewing.

* Midday:

* Picnic lunch: At a designated site inside the Serengeti.

* Afternoon:

* Continue game drive: Then ascend back to the plains.

* Evening:

* Dinner: Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena.

* Morning & Afternoon:

* Choose between a full-day game drive or two split drives (morning and afternoon).

* Focus on spotting big cats, migration herds (seasonal), and open plains.

* Evening:

* Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Serena.

Day 10: Serengeti to Tarime Airstrip to Isebania to Migori to Mara Serena

* Morning: Fly from Serengeti Serena to Tarime Airstrip, then drive to the Isebania border for immigration and customs (about 1-1.5 hours).

* Midday: After border formalities, drive to Migori Airstrip (about 1-1.5 hours). Fly from Migori Airstrip to Mara Serena Airstrip (about 30-45 minutes by light aircraft). Drive from Mara Serena Airstrip to the lodge (15-30 minutes).

* Evening: Go on an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara.

* Overnight: Stay at Mara Serena (Masai Mara).

Day 11: Full Day in Masai Mara (Mara Serena)

* Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy a full-day game drive or two split drives in Masai Mara.

* Optional Extras: Book a hot air balloon ride (in advance) or have a bush breakfast.

* Evening: Have dinner and spend the night at Mara Serena.

Day 12: Mara Serena to Nairobi (Day Room) to Airport Departure

* Morning: Fly from Mara Serena Airstrip to Nairobi (Wilson Airport), taking about 45-60 minutes.

* Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Head to a Nairobi hotel for a day room, where you can rest, shower, and repack.

* Evening: Transfer to the international airport (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) for your outbound flight.

* Farewell to Kenya and Tanzania.

 Verified Our First Safari Our safari with Isaak was amazing. Right from meeting us at the airport we felt safe, cared for and in the know. Schedules were discussed and met. We saw EVERY animal possible for that region. We love wildlife but Isaak's love and pride of country and native animals was so evident as he shared his knowledge.  Verified Unforgettable Safari I had the pleasure of working with Isaak to plan an unforgettable safari at the beginning of 2025. I saw a lioness attack a younger male lion that was too close to her cubs, and saw a pregnant giraffe in labor. His attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and truly memorable. I visited multiple parks across Kenya and saw an incredible variety of wildlife, all thanks to his thoughtful planning.Isaak took the time to brief me on what to expect, explain local customs, and offer helpful guidance on tipping and etiquette. One example is to tip with US dollar bills that are in good condition.  Verified Amazing experience awaits! Highly highly recommend Isaac and Wild Chronicles Safaris. They took great care of our family and showed us a really wonderful time. Our kids loved our time and it was made extra special due to the care that was given to us. We saw all the main animals and witnessed a cheetah kill as well.
